Your Innocence Is Your Life's Energy Source

We are taught from birth to seek knowledge, educate yourself and you will go far in this world. Just how far in this world are we expected to go? Is it fair to say that the more we travel, the more we learn and the more we learn, the more we lose the true essence of who we are. Exposure and the knowledge that is gleaned from that exposure forces the innocence within us to conform to the things in which we are exposed. Our innocence is the true essence of who we are to be in this journey called life and each time we lose a portion of that innocence, we lose the ability to love as we should. Love and innocence walk hand in hand and they compliment each other. When knowledge comes on the scene, we become grown ups and innocence diminishes and Love is left to walk alone and it can not because there is nothing innocent to support it. Grown-ups will limit the love they show because of the knowledge they've gained.  The heart of a child is the innocence needed to love in the full capacity in which we are called by God. Grown-ups keep score and we lose out on Love when this happens.  We must work at keeping our energy bright by standing up for ourselves and saying "Knowledge You Can Not Rob Me of My Innocence".
