The Silence Of The Aged

The Silence of the Aged

Do you hear the voice of the elderly. They are barely speaking above a whisper. I am trying to figure it out. They have been so accustomed to yelling at us outside, telling us that we should be in before dark, take the trash out, clean up your room and the best one, did you do your homework? Am I the only one that hear the silence? Why are our old people talking just an octave above a whisper. Oh, wait, they are no longer in their homes, they are living in one room with one bathroom of a nursing home and there is no need to shout anymore. Does it really suck getting old and have they been forgotten and are now a thing of our past.

Some people believe that they have years to play around on whatever road they're on but please sound the alarm that "All Roads Lead Somewhere". Author: Loyce Bullock

Don't Judge Me!!!

Don't Judge Me

People perceive they are being judged in today's society when you don't agree with the things that they do or the things that they say, and they don't like it. It doesn't matter who you are, no one should correct us or tell us the right thing to do because we are going to call it judging. Some that will turn a deaf ear to correction because to them, you are judging. What is wrong with someone telling you that to smoke weed everyday is asinine and illegal because you are high everyday and you tell them not to judge you because weed makes you a deep thinker. It doesn't matter that you are high everyday and you are still in the same broke, unsuccessful place that you were before you smoked the blunt. The most important thing is that you don't have the right to judge us. Maybe the truth of the matter is that you really don't want to be told what to do. Correction is done out of love for a person and should be received as such. There are two words in this sentence that really does need to be addressed and the sentence is: "I am offended that you are judging me". Is it judgment or love that we fear? Author Loyce Bullock

The Road Less Traveled

Every individual should know that they were born with Purpose but daily circumstances don't always positively encourage a person to stay on course. Certain circumstances dictate the outcome of our journey to our purpose or are we in total control of our appointed arrival. Do some of us miss our purpose altogether by not having a positive schedule outlined for travel or can a person have a delayed arrival to our purposed destination? Sometimes, we choose our friends, our spouses and work relationships based on the easy road which may or may not be the positive road to our purpose.  Sometimes it is better to take the road less traveled which starts by Getting A Good Foundation.

The Life That You Wasted

Time is a very precious commodity and it moves even when we don't realize that it is moving. Time is also something that once it is gone, you can never get it back. That part of your life can never be revisited regardless of the end result. One must be so aware of the decisions that they make in life, that there are no non-productive spaces that will give grounds for regret in the latter years. The mind will feed your spirit falsely and encourage you to do somethings that make you feel good about yourself. Just before the final curtain of life comes down, you will know that the majority of the things that you wanted to do and that you actually did, was all for nothing. Look back at how Time Flies and The Life That You Wasted in the process.
