We are all aware that wisdom is
gained through experience and not age. Our elderly however, have lived through many experiences and they
still live to share with others. Now that we have reached adulthood, why are we
kicking our elderly to the curb? We don't need them anymore, we don't trust
their advice anymore. We force our elderly from their homes, insist that they
live in places that they don't really want to be, take their money and treat
them as children. We have silenced them because we don't want to hear what they
have to say. We need to really STOP and
think about what we are doing to them. One day, this will be your journey and
the only way not to get there, is to die. Author: Loyce Bullock
